The verdict is in on one of the best web hosting sites in the market!

Hey guys, I hope you’re all doing great. The purpose of today’s article is to show you all the results from my recent change of hosting providers.

Before Switching to HostAwesome

I was with HostGator for a long time, but too many occurrences of downtime and slow site-loading speeds of late forced me to make a very necessary change.

You see, HostGator used to be an excellent host in terms of performance and reliability-and I always received top notch support from everyone on their support team.

However, when the founder, Brent Oxley, recently sold the company to Endurance International Group (EIG), the quality of this host dwindled considerably over time, in my opinion. You can read more about the goings on at HostGator in my recent Unconventional Hosting Guide here.

Nevertheless, being the loyal type that I am, I stayed with HostGator for quite some time after the sale to EIG. Until I noticed that the traffic to my site was dwindling and had been tapering off for quite a while! This alarmed me, so I started looking into the reasons for the sudden turn around.

First of all, I performed an anchor text and link analysis on Majestic Seo’s site. I even tested my site for errors and even duplicate content using the Screaming Frog SEO Spider Tool, but just about everything checked out OK.

But when I initiated a speed test of this Right Blog Tips site at , I received the following results:

Needless to say, I was SHOCKED! For me, this was the last straw with HostGator, so I immediately went to work to find the best web hosting site for my situation. It didn’t take me long to figure it out, as I had just completed a five-part series of posts about web hosting.

During the Switch to HostAwesome

There was one hosting company that had stuck in my mind when I was putting that marathon of articles together: HostAwesome. The reason why it was easy for me to remember the name of this relatively new hosting company is because they have all these really unique handy performance features-and boy did I need an uptick in performance!

I didn’t want to go all-out spending big bucks on the priciest premium web host available. Although, I really needed to put some speed back into my site-loading time, so I was going to spend whatever it took to reach that crucial goal.

HostAwesome is one of the best web hosting sites out there and was the perfect host to get my site’s engine revving again because they use Cloudlinux Technology, which practically turns all their servers into VPS servers- and all for the price of a standard shared hosting plan. What’s more is that they only use “Litespeed” servers, so this serves to speed up their client’s sites all the more. I explain HostAwesome’s exclusive features in more detail HERE.

So I got back in touch with the founder of HostAwesome, Dave Zhang, who I was fortunate enough to get to know recently. He immediately began-yes, within minutes-to migrate my sites over to his servers and all I did was carry on with my blogging endeavors while it all went on behind the scenes.

There was no downtime at all-I didn’t expect that there would be any-and the switch took literally less than half an hour! Dave and his team took care of everything and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. So I did another website speed test after switching to HostAwesome and here are the results:

What a difference in speed NOW! Of course, I was relieved to see that result, but I wasn’t going to stop there! So I reached out to Dave again and mentioned to him the integrated CDNs that he’d told me about that come with every paid plan. To that he said no bother at all and that he would need just a little bit of time for his team to set up the CDN on their end-oh, and Dave had also made sure to ask me from which countries most of my traffic comes so I could get the best CDN performance results possible.

After Adding the Integrated CDN

In no time at all, the CDN was ready to go and he directed me to the page where I could download the plugin, which was easy to install, just like any other plugin. And BAM-my next site speed test looked like THIS:

NOW I WAS SUCKING DIESEL, LOL!! I was completely ecstatic after seeing this and just very thankful to Dave Zhang and his dedicated team for turning around my site speed problem in a matter of HOURS!

Needless to say, I still have a few things I need to tweak to help my site load even faster, LOL! Really-I do, but to get that dramatic kind of performance and speed enhancement by doing nothing but switching to HostAwesome just blew my mind! And to have connected with and worked alongside such a gentleman as Dave Zhang was a real pleasure and the icing on the cake.

I’m sure you can now see why I now consider HostAwesome to be one of the best web hosting sites out there. 🙂
